Laser Spine Institute offers a streamlined patient experience by providing all the services needed to accomplish spine surgeries under one roof
Nearly 60 percent of all patients who come to Laser Spine Institute for relief from chronic neck or back pain travel from out-of-state. Our patients are willing to travel because we offer an unmatched quality of care before, during and after surgery. Our streamlined patient experience caters to your needs, so that you can return to your daily activities quickly, and comfortably. Once you make the first contact with us, here is what you can expect:
Getting started at Laser Spine Institute
Your experience at Laser Spine Institute begins by talking with one of our caring and committed Spine Care Consultants. You may first contact your Spine Care Consultant through our online chat function or by making a telephone call. Your Spine Care Consultant will recommend that you send us your MRI or CT scan for review. Once we receive your MRI or CT scan, we will determine if you are eligible for treatment at our center. Since almost 60 percent of our patients travel for their care, our Spine Care Consultants do their best to take care of as many important details as possible before we ask you to travel.
MRI or CT scan review
Though not all patients will choose to have a live consultation, you will be invited to come in and meet with a medical professional to discuss your spine condition and procedure options. At this time, we will determine whether you are a candidate for one of our procedures. This conversation can also take place over the phone.
If you are a candidate for minimally invasive spine surgery, we will start planning your schedule to travel to one of our regional centers for care. The majority of our patients that travel to see us are with us for around a week. You may be required to rest for up to 48 hours after surgery.
We know that traveling is not easy, so we do our best to ensure that your time with us is effective and meaningful. Since our centers are outpatient ambulatory surgical centers, you will stay in a hotel for the duration of your visit. We will do our best to make this experience as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
